Mask changes for Victoria
From Monday October 12th all Victorians will need to wear a fitted mask that covers the nose and mouth when leaving home unless you have a lawful exception. Children under 12 do not need to wear face coverings and children under two years old must not wear face coverings. Face covings such as shields, scarfs and bandanas will no longer be lawful. Mask can be commercial products, or you can make your own.
People may be fined $200 if not wearing a fitted mask, there are some other exemptions for illness, exercise and some work cases. Follow the link below for full details.
